What is Total Care™ GROUP?

Total Care™ is a membership program that provides access to healthcare providers.  Total Care™ is not health insurance and does not provide indemnity to members.

How long does it take for my membership to be effective?

Your membership should go into effect immediately after we receive and process all of your information.

 

How many cards do we receive per family?

Each Family membership includes two permanent membership identification cards, which show the primary's first and last name.  

Can I choose any doctor?

You must choose a doctor from our network of over 500,000 providers or you can nominate one to be added to our list.

What if my doctor is not on the list?

That's easy! All you have to do is call Customer Care at 1-866-970-7444.  We will invite him or her to become a CAREington International™ provider!  Note: this process is a courtesy to our members, not a guarantee that your provider will join CAREington International™ or agree to give a discount.

How much do I have to pay when I go to the doctor?

The savings vary from one provider to another.  The savings is determined by the agreement we have with our provider.  The savings will be applied, and then the provider will expect the payment for charges at the time of service.

How do I know how much I will be paying for Dental procedures?

Our providers follow a set fee schedule that designates fixed rates for most procedures.  You may contact Total Care™ Member Services for an estimated cost for a particular procedure or contact your Dentist directly.

How do I use this service?

After you have received your card, all you do is present it to one of the participating providers.  There are no administrative forms to fill out for reimbursement. Savings is applied at the time of service.
